Why Don't My Coupons Double?
This is probably one of the most frequent questions I get, so I thought it was worth addressing again. Usually the reason a coupon doesn't double is for one of two reasons:
1. The store limits the number of identical coupons it will double. For instance, Meijer stores limit identical coupons to 2 (or sometimes 6) that will double. To take full advantage of your coupon, limit the number of coupons used in a single tranaction to that number.
2. The other reason a coupon won't double can be found by looking at the UPC number on the coupon. Most coupons in the Sunday papers begin w/the number 5...they double. But, if you get a coupon in one of the blinkie machines at the store, they usually begin w/the number 9. They won't double, no matter the store policy!
I hope this helps clarify the issue.
