Great Dinner...Great Price

After all that shopping and couponing, I used some great coupons to bring home dinner.

First I went to Arbys (my daughter was w/me)
2 soft drinks $3.18
2 Arbys Bacon Cheese burger $3.49 each - two FREE cpns = FREE
Spent $3.18 total

Then I headed over to Chipotles:
4 Chipotle burritos
2 chips & salsas
oop $3 and some change after we used 4 brown bags!!
Total for dinner was a little over $6!!
Oh, and it was delicious!!

So, my total for the afternoon, was around $25...a great bargain run for me!

(**Only six of the Kelloggs $.70 cpns doubled per my store rules, but I had to get multiples of 4 to get the $2 off. Anyway, $1.30 is still good for these big boxes!!)

The mail-in deal is: Buy one Pro Health, get a coupon for another one FREE up to $3.25. So, in the end, you get 2/FREE after ECB!!

Kroger Bargain Run!

Went to Krogers briefly this afternoon...just to check if they had the Colgate toothbrushes. I had 9 coupons...got 9 and then to get the Mega Deal, I picked up a Purex. Here's the breakdown:
9 Colgate toothbrushes $1.50 - .50 MD - $.75 cpn = FREE
1 Purex $2.99 - .50 MD - .75 cpn = $1.49
pretax total $1.49 + .98 tax = $2.47 oop
total savings $22.21 = 93% savings...I like that!!
*Krogers doubles manufacturer's cpns to a $1.

It's Tuesday

Did you need to be reminded? Actually, I was just thinking..."It's Tuesday, and I have yet to get out and get the great deals this week!" I spent yesterday afternoon after school clipping and filing all those coupons. I don't know about you, but I feel better prepared to face the challenge of couponing when everything is organized and where it should be. It's totally frustrating to me when I find and great deal, but I can't find the coupon I need!
So, now let the shopping begin!!
