Extreme Couponer Show Reaction

So, what did you think about the show last night?? I'd love to hear some feedback.
My initial thought is that couponers were portrayed as taking advantage of the system. I'm concerned that there may be some negativity involved as to how stores view us reasonable couponers. I did greatly appreciate the one who gave so much to a local food pantry...isn't that part of what Jesus told us to do?? Feed the hungry?? Anyway, I found it very interesting to watch and am looking forward to another year of saving money!

Shopping, Returns and Crowds!

I went to do some grocery shopping today and to exchange some Christmas presents. What a tiring day....long lines, impatient drivers, etc... What surprised me though was how little Christmas paper, bows, lights and stuff is still left. It seems to be very picked over! I was able to get a few bargains on some paper for next year. I hit Meijer as well, just to get a few of their deals: Pam, angus ground chuck, and Breakstone sour cream to name a few. Hope you've been able to get some good deals too...let me know if you have!
