I went to Meijer again today to use the 10% off coupon and get the items I had seen since then. Thanks to Mercedes, I was prepared to get FREE Bullseye BBQ sauce. But, when I got there, there was a sign that if you bought 3 sauces, you get 8 ears of fresh corn on the cob FREE. Well, since I had coupons to get six BBQ sauces, I did them in two transactions and ended up w/16 ears FREE!!

My Lifesavers Trip!

I was able to get 14 bags of various Lifesavers all for $.50 each - FREE!! I had printed two of the $.75 cpns earlier and then six of the $1/2 cpns here that is still available. Krogers has them on sale now thru Sunday for $1!! Time to stock up for me.

Coupon Inserts 5/30/10

Due to the holiday weekend, there will be NO inserts this weekend. It'll be a good time to organize, clean out expired ones, and have a break from clipping!

I stopped by Dollar General today to see if they got more Nivea in and, sure enough, they were very well stocked! Here's all I bought:
8 Burger King snacks $1 each here
8 TGIF snacks $1 each here
2 Reach floss $1 each
5 Nivea Women's body wash $2.75 each
3 Nivea Men's body wash $2.75 each
I used four $1/2 Burger King cpns, four $1/2 TGIF cpns, two $1 Reach floss cpns, 5 $4 Nivea body wash for Women cpns and 3 $3 Nivea body wash for Men's cpns.
oop = 2.68 ($1.68 of that was tax!)

Ortega Overage at Meijer!

Ortega is on sale at 25% off this week, making the seasoning packet $.47 and the beans $.66. I got a total combination of 24 items, used 12 $1/2 cpn (4/18 SS) and six $1/4 Mealbox cpns. Some of the coupons adjusted down toward the end of the order, but after figuring it up, I got it all for FREE + a $3.88 overage!!

Target Question!

Okay, I admit, I am NOT a Target shopper. I have only done a few deals there. It seems that whenever I try, I get hassled. Today was NO exception. Here's what I TRIED to do:

Well, the cashier called the manager over only to inform me that I could NOT use both coupons??? Is that right...it seems others have blogged that they did. I'd appreciate some help if anyone has an answer. I politely said I didn't want the Windex then.
