My CVS plan

Here's what I plan to do at CVS this coming week (actually Saturday!):
I have $14 in ECBs to start with.

Transaction #1:
1 Purex 3-in-1 Complete $6.99
- $2 cpn (6/14 SS)
= $4.99

1 Schick Quattro razor $7.99
- $4 cpn (6/14 SS)
= $3.99

1 Crest rinse $2.99
- $1 cpn (6/7 P&G)
= $1.99

subtotal = $10.97 + tax
Use $11 ECBs from last week.
oop = tax
Earn $7 ECBs ($2 on the Purex, $3 on the Schick, and $2 on the Crest)

Transaction # 2:
4 Kelloggs cereals $1.88
- $1 cpn (6/7 RP)
= $3.52
2 Kotex 2/$6
- two $1 cpn (6/14 SS)
= 2/$4
subtotal $7.52
Use $7 ECBs.
oop = $.52 + tax
Earn $2 ECBs...leaving me w/$5 ECBs to roll.

Total oop= $.52 + tax!!
I always try to use ECBs for at least one food item. I know they don't always generate more ECBs, but with 6 in the family, food is priority.
I'll let you know how it goes!!
It worked great, except I forgot the Kotex today. I also bought 5 papers w/coupons inserts and cut them while waiting in line (I needed the Schick and the Purex!)

If you have $4 ECBs, I would simply break it down. Do the Purex 1st, use your $4 ECBs, pay $.99 oop, and get $2 ECBs. Then do the Crest, use the $2, pay no oop and get $2 ECBs. Then do the razor, paying only $1.99 and getting $3 ECBs back. And so on...Julie
